The City of Los Altos is working on a student survey to get feedback from current Los Altos High School students on the Student Resource Officer (SRO) Program at LAHS. Please be on the lookout for the survey on The Talons website and social media.

English Dept. set to remove ‘To Kill a Mockingbird’ from curriculum

The English Department is set to replace the freshman course reading “To Kill a Mockingbird” next school year; the removal comes as teachers and students have faced growing concerns with the novel’s difficulty and “outdated” messages. Read the full story here.
