COVID-19 Response
Vaccine Requirement Update:
A reminder that the University of Pittsburgh’s vaccine requirement goes into effect on Dec. 6, 2021. All Pitt affiliates on all campuses will need to show proof of vaccination against COVID-19 or have an approved exemption. Refer to the FAQs on coronavirus.pitt.edu for the most current information.

Proof of Vaccination: Upload your proof of vaccination to the appropriate portal for Pitt-Greensburg residential students, commuter students, or faculty/staff.

On-Campus Vaccine Clinics: First, second, and third dose/booster shots will be offered at the Mainline Vaccine Clinics (Chambers Gymnasium) on Nov. 30 and Dec. 7 from 9 a.m. to noon. Register for an appointment and choose from the Moderna, Pfizer, or Johnson & Johnson vaccines. Walk-ins are welcome.

Exemption Requests: Exemption requests submitted by students, faculty, and staff are being reviewed on a case-by-case basis by the Pitt Office for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (OEDI) and can only be requested for medical reasons, or reasons based on sincerely held religious belief or because of a strong moral or ethical conviction. Exemption requests must be submitted online. Faculty, staff, and students who are granted an exemption will be subject to additional mitigation measures, such as routine COVID-19 testing.

Medical exemptions require a doctor’s signature. Religious and moral exemptions require a notarized attestation. Download and print one of the following forms:

A photo or scan of the signed or notarized form must be uploaded to the Exemption Request Form online. For complimentary notary services on the Greensburg campus, please request an appointment via email.

Pitt-Greensburg's webpage also provides details on current COVID-19 guidelines and protocols.

On-Campus COVID Testing available:
An on-campus covid testing site is available for students, faculty, and staff who need to submit a Quest PCR test to maintain compliance with the University of Pittsburgh requirement for non-vaccinated individuals. The on-campus covid tests are for asymptomatic individuals only. We still expect all such members of our community to order their tests as previously instructed.
However, if you have not received your test kit in a timely fashion, or for some other reason were unable to complete a weekly test, please come to our testing site as follows:
  • Location: Lynch Hall 106 (there are signs directing you to the testing site)
  • Day/Time: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
A staff member will be there to assist you with the testing protocol and will collect the testing materials when you complete the process. If you have not already done so, please register with Quest ahead of time, which will save you from waiting and registering at the testing site. Registration is encouraged, but not required.    Unvaccinated or undisclosed individuals are required by the University to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test between Monday-Saturday every week of the term.

Please use this resource as needed to stay in compliance with the mandatory testing regimen.  Thank you for your attention to this critical issue.

Please visit our webpage to access the most up-to-date information about Pitt-Greensburg's COVID-19 protocols, as well as our Health & Safety Guidelines.

The most recent CMRO Update is now available.
There will be no CRMO Update published during the Thanksgiving holiday.
