This year we will be presenting an ambitious musical. We picked a musical that we can perform no matter what! Come be part of “Is There Life After High School?” Auditions are currently being accepted until December 21st. This once in a lifetime experience will bring together singing, dancing, acting, and film. Want to act only? Try out. Want to sing only? Try out. What to dance only? Try out. Want to do everything? Try out. Want to play on a song? Join our classroom page and let us know. Want to create original film content for the experience, join the classroom page and let us know. Adults are also welcome!

 

Our Spring musical will be a multimedia production, where the content will be prepared to be presented in many formats and across a number of platforms. Students will learn the ins and outs of not only learning a musical but also mixing live music.  

 

Audition requirements for singers, actors and dancers can be found on our classroom page. Just join with Google Classroom code ltv3os2. Join us for our Fall production of You Have to Turn Your Mic On! A New Way of Coming Together. The show consists of seven ten-minute plays from the Actors Theatre of Louisville. Five plays are directed by Alyssa DiPanfilo,  while two others are directed by seniors Stephanie Herrera and Brett Bernstein. The plays selected are all winners of the National Ten-Minute Playwriting contest. Our play this year is unlike anything that has been done in the past, because this year is unlike any other year. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic people had to find a new way of communicating with one another when being physically present was no longer an option. Our show is set in present time and comments on what connection to other people and the world around us looks like through a computer screen. Throughout these plays we see that as long as we put in the effort and communicate with one another, connections can be made no matter where we are in the world.
