The NR Fund for Educational Excellence is sponsoring SAT and ACT test prep classes at Applerouth as well as an free info session for parents, How to Navigate College Admissions Testing, on Thursday December 3 from 8-9pm. College Prep Workshop This Saturday

Youth Leadership Consortium’s is offering College Prep Saturday — a free Zoom workshop designed to help families from diverse socioeconomic, racial, and ethnic backgrounds prepare, plan, and pay for college — on Saturday, December 5, 2020 from 12-3pm. Scholarship Information on Naviance

Please ask your senior to log into their Naviance account for scholarship information. First the student needs to click on the Colleges Tab, and there select the Scholarship and Money option, the last one on that list. Once there, click on Scholarship List.

Supporting Teens in These Challenging Times

All parents and community members are invited to Youth Mental Health 101: Supporting Teens in These Challenging Times on Tuesday, December 8th from 7- 8:30pm via Zoom. This presentation features timely information about protecting youth mental health as we approach the winter months with the continued impact of COVID-19 for youth and families.

Dr. Andrew Ecker from Putnam Northern Westchester BOCES and Michael Orth, Commissioner, Westchester County Department of Community Mental Health will discuss how anxiety, depression, and feelings of isolation may be especially heightened right now, making the need for early intervention by parents and caring adults even more important.
