Let's send our students back to school with a blessing! Join us on Sunday, September 6, after worship at 12:30pm for a prayer drive in support of all those returning to school this fall. We will gather in the parking lot where we will pass out device stickers to all students and educators present (instead of a backpack tag, as not everyone will be using a backpack this year!) and then drive to each of the Manchester Community School buildings to offer a prayer before in-person classes begin there the following Tuesday. We'll return to the church where we'll have sidewalk chalk available to write encouraging messages on the Klager Elementary sidewalks for students walking to school! Sharon UMC will also be doing a prayer walk at the same time and we look forward to crossing paths with them - how great to know that our school system has such broad support!

We'd also like to pair our prayers with an act of service by collecting school supplies for Klager Elementary students and teachers! See a list of the school supplies we're collecting here or by clicking the picture above. Supplies can be brought to the prayer drive or you can contact the church office to arrange another drop off time!
