PPE FOR EXCEL SITES
ExCEL After School Program will begin to receive PPE for their staff and students starting this week. Boxes will be marked for “ExCEL” and will be delivered to your school site’s Main Office. Please let your main office know that your program is expecting PPE from SFUSD.
Please contact Phuong Thai (email@example.com) if your site does not receive the PPE by the end of February.
San Francisco Education Fund is partnering with SFUSD and BookNook
We are excited to connect with you all this Friday to discuss the BookNook literacy tutoring initiative taking place during afterschool. We’ve already connected with some of you, but if this is your first time hearing about this we will go over how we are partnering on the initiative after the Excel meeting. The San Francisco Education Fund is partnering with SFUSD and BookNook to bring free, virtual literacy tutoring to your sites. All of your principals have been informed and should start looping you into communications. Please review the list of 27 schools participating here. If you’re willing, please add your contact information to that sheet in columns M and N.
At the meeting on Friday, we’ll go over this slide deck which includes what your role will be, the logistics for how the tutoring will take place, and how to sign up students. We’ll also go over any questions you may have. The Ed Fund is here to support you—please reach out to us if you would like to brainstorm or problem solve how to best implement this. We look forward to meeting you on Friday!
Thank you for your help!!
