What’s happening with the 2020 Teacher-Powered Schools National Conference?

We are getting this question a lot. And like with so many things right now, we don’t know the answer. But here’s what we can tell you.

We understand that both large gatherings and travel will likely be the last facets of “normal life” to return. We will follow guidance on gatherings and travel—and above all consider the health, safety, and comfort of our would-be guests—before making a final decision on how to proceed with the conference.

We have heard from many of you, and we will continue to listen in the coming months to try to identify what’s best for all. In the meantime, we have paused registration as well as the call for breakout session proposals. We appreciate your patience as we figure this out.

Our sincere thanks,
Amy & Alex

2020 Teacher-Powered Learning Collaborative

Over the past month, we have been excited to launch a free opportunity for educators to connect with like-minded peers and move forward on their teacher-powered journey.
Cohorts of 6-8 educators meet virtually every month to focus on one teacher-powered practice. It is a chance to meet new friends working in schools designed and run by teams of teachers, share successes, brainstorm, and get advice on challenges your team is facing.

Your interest has exceeded our expectations, and we’re working on adding new cohorts to meet demand. Reserve a spot if you would like to take part in the next Learning Collaborative cohort.
