Happy April Fool's *|HTML:FNAME|*!

Geez, we can't even imagine how we would even start when it comes to constructing a home for emus! We're also certain that they are not backyard friendly with HOA's as well...however, if you do happen to have one already...then please let us know, do their eggs taste more like chicken eggs or duck eggs?

Aside from the fun laugh, we hope that your backyard flock and/or garden is doing great this Spring season! If you're still looking to add new flock members (no emus included), then we recommend checking out a few of our favorite hatcheries listed below!
Additionally, if this season has you wanting to venture and expand your flock, consider joining us for our future free Zoom Webinar on Backyard Duck Keeping for Beginners. Our 45-minute free Zoom class will highlight a number of our most asked questions that we receive from beginners everywhere. Discussion points will include, duck purchase tips and recommendations, important beginner advice, and backyard coop help. The end of every class also includes 10 minutes of live questions and answers with our very own founder, Dyan! You can sign up for an upcoming class by finding our registration link located at the bottom of this email!

Did you know that in the U.S. more food ends up in landfills than plastic or paper? Before throwing away any leftovers or moldy food in the trash, consider composting your food waste or recycling it to create treats for your flock. Depending on where you live, our Grubcone can be an excellent and simple addition to your recycling regimen. Visit our website to learn how, with the help of a small and helpful insect, we can make the most of our food waste.
