In 7 sessions, Seamless covers the people, places, and promises of the Bible, tying them together into the greater story of Scripture. Whether you've grown up hearing Bible stories or you're exploring Scripture for the first time, the full story of the Bible can be overwhelming.

Experience the Bible as a whole as you gain clarity and confidence in your understanding of Scripture. Discover a biblical context that reshapes and brings to life stories from the Old and New Testaments.
Each week is accompanied by maps, general Bible facts, and word studies.

Church Conference set for November 11

Our annual Church Conference will occur on Sunday, November 11th at 6:00pm at GoodlandUMC. Again this year we will be joined in a Network Conference by churches from Kanorado, Sharon Springs, St. Francis, Bird City, Brewster, and Goodland. Due to a unavoidable scheduling conflict, Oakley and Winona will meet at another time with the District Superintendent, but are also members of our network.

We will begin at 6:00pm with worship and then move to our meeting with District Superintendent Don Hasty. We will also have a time of refreshments and fellowship between the churches.
Town Hall Sessions Scheduled with Bishop on Human Sexuality

The special session of General Conference – scheduled for Feb. 23-26, 2019, in St. Louis – has preoccupied the thoughts, prayers and ministries of many United Methodists. The information shared by all sides in the dialogue over human sexuality can be confusing because of the volume of material and the intricacies of each position.

To help the 220,000 people in our Great Plains Conference churches better understand the issues on all sides and to help maintain our focus on the mission of making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world, Bishop Ruben Saenz Jr. convened the Forward in Unity Process Team. This group of clergy and lay people from across the conference has met several times to discuss ways of ensuring the information related to the special session of General Conference is shared in ways that maintain a collaborative atmosphere and that allow space for the Holy Spirit to work in us and through us all.

To read the full report from the Council of Bishops and watch an introductory video from Bishop Saenz, visit the conference website here.

You’ve read stories and heard the news about The United Methodist Church’s upcoming special session of General Conference to address concerns around human sexuality. Join Bishop Ruben Saenz Jr. as he addresses the recent recommendation by the Council of Bishops and leads discussions on this important subject. You’re invited to come listen, learn and, most importantly, share.

Donations Being Sought to Purchase More Round Tables

After hosting recent events at the church, it has been determined that it would be helpful to have more of the round plastic tables for our use, especially when hosting smaller meals in the Parlor. These white tables are very versatile in different settings and are extremely durable and easy to move. We've priced the tables and to get 5 tables, it would be around $600. If you would like to donate to this purchase, any gift is helpful. Please leave gifts in the office or offering plate marked "table purchase". Thank you!
CD Players Needed
Recently we had a increase in requests for recordings of our Sunday Worship Services for our homebound members. In this process, we discovered there are some who would like to listen to our service but do not have a CD player. If you have a gently used CD player you no longer use and would like to donate, please bring it to the office so we can share with some of our homebound members. We are also taking monetary donations for the purchase of CD players when needed.
