Aspirational Architecture - Marks & Spencer, Cheshire Oaks | UK

Designed as a commitment to their sustainability strategy, Marks & Spencer's flagship Cheshire Oaks store leads the way in large scale carbon and energy efficient retail environments.
It's hard not to get excited about some of the green features which include hemp clad walls, bird boxes, green walls and a ceiling made from glass bottles. Rainwater harvesting and biomass boilers all help in making the two storey complex 42% more energy efficient than an equivalent sized store.

Learn more about the holistic design and construction of this super green project.
