Student Congratulations
Shaun Pierson ('19 RTF) was hired by the New York Times as the photographer for a recent article
Rowan Photography Exhibition at the TILT Institute

Rowan photography students will display work in the upcoming exhibition Hidden Worlds That Shine at the TILT Institute for the Contemporary Image’s Project Gallery.

Opening reception: Tonight (June 9) from 5-7 pm. Exhibition runs until July 1, 2022.

Faculty and Staff Congratulations
  • Taylor Henry (Writing Arts) received press in the New York Post, NBC, The Courier Post, Philadelphia Inquirer and for her historical preservation efforts in Wildwood, NJ. 
  • Jen Kitson and Donna Sweigart (Art) and Shayne Shands (Graphic Design student) will be distributing their SMELL FAN to visitors at the PHS Philadelphia Flower Show on June 19. Designed as part of an ongoing partnership with the Monell Center, this handheld fan doubles as a botanical fragrance field guide for exploring the Philadelphia Flower Show (and beyond) through scent. This project is supported by an Edelman CCCA STORI Grant.
  • Paul Mulhern (Writing Arts) published "Saving Shannon: A Family's Story of Strength and Devotion" about his daughter's recovery from a traumatic brain injury. 
  • Donna Sweigart (Art) received the 2022 Professional Artist Award from the Art Educators of New Jersey (AENJ).

Edelman CCCA faculty and students have teamed up with the School of Earth and Environment to produce the "Byrd Bot," a web application that sonically illustrates the loss of bird populations due to the global biodiversity crisis. Learn more here

Edelman CCCA creative media arts summer camp: Storytellers 

 This program gives upper elementary, middle school, and high school students a week of exciting, direct learning experiences in the techniques and creative tools people use to share stories. Learn more here.
