Edelman CCCA Update
August 18, 2021
Happy summer! Welcome to the Edelman CCCA Update, our College's newsletter that highlights faculty, staff, student and alumni accomplishments, upcoming events and other important announcements. We will return to our twice-a-month publishing schedule in September, so please continue to contact Jessica at with submissions for future Updates. Happy reading!
Faculty and Staff Congratulations
Alan Willoughby (Art) and his wife, Linda Shusterman, were featured on an NJ PBS show, called "Potter's Paradise." The segment toured the couple's home and studio and provided context for Willoughby's new pursuit to combine ceramics with social justice messaging.

Herb Appelson (Art) was a featured artist in the American Color Print Society's 2021 exhibition at the MarkArts Center (video tour of exhibition here). Appelson's piece, titled "Iceland," was selected for a local collection.
In case you missed the email sent out Monday, there has been an update to the Around Glassboro in a Day event on August 27. Based on the number of people who have RSVP'd for the event at Sandy and Roberta’s house, we’ve decided to reschedule the party for a time when more people are comfortable with attending.  We’re looking forward to the other two events scheduled for Friday, August 27. Everyone is still invited to pick up their welcome-back bags from their department secretary and/or participate in the Exit 4 Escape Room. Sign up for one or both of these here.
