Faculty and Staff Congratulations
  • Doreen Fera (Writing Arts) won the 2021-2022 Frances S. Johnson Junior Faculty Innovative Teaching Award. Fera was recognized for using multimodal composition journaling to engage first-year writing students during the pandemic.

Free Art Symposium: April 4-8
The inaugural Symposium for Interdisciplinary Arts, offered through Edelman CCCA, will provide art-making opportunities in a wide array of disciplines for all students. The symposium will include sessions on paper quilling, illustrating as storytelling, sand carving & aluminum casting, the casting of concrete (to make a geometric planter), printmaking and more. 

The symposium is open to all Rowan students, but seating is limited. For more information, email

Active Shooter Awareness Training and Discussion: April 6, 10:00am-12:30pm, Student Center room 127.

Hosted by the Rowan University Police Department. Please register with Robin Highley.

CNN presidential historian Douglas Brinkley will discuss the 50th anniversary of Watergate and the presidency of Richard Nixon during a lecture at Rowan University on Monday, March 28 at 5 p.m. in the Eynon Ballroom of the Chamberlain Student Center.

This event, which is free and open to the public, is part of the President’s Lecture Series, which brings prominent speakers to campus to address a host of topics—from education to science to history to politics.

Rowan Innovation Weekend, created by the University Innovation Fellows, is a one-day event open to Rowan students of any major. It is intended to teach students about design thinking and entrepreneurship while also using their talents to create solutions for their fellow students. This year's topic: Student Mental Health Solutions. Students can sign up here.
