June 23, 2022
Welcome! This is the Edelman CCCA Update, our College's newsletter that highlights faculty, staff, student and alumni accomplishments, upcoming events and other important announcements. We will be publishing every couple of weeks throughout the summer, so please send your news here.
Faculty and Staff Congratulations
  • Herb Appelson (Art) had three metal relief prints accepted into the Cadaques 2022, an international juried miniature print exhibition in Barcelona, Spain. The show runs from the end of June until September and will travel to the Galeria L’Etangd’Art in Baged, France, Wingfield Barns, UK and in the Tharats Foundation of Graphic Art in Pineda de Mar, Spain.
  • Mandi Dorrell (Writing Arts) and Sherry Hicks (PR/ADV) are the first-ever recipients of the Adjunct Faculty Award presented by the Social Justice Committee of the AFT. Dorrell champions mental health both inside and outside the classroom. Hicks ensures that students gain real-world experience by facilitating partnerships with outside organizations.
