Help Us Serve You Better
Please complete this brief questionnaire
We need your input! Your answers to a few easy questions will help us make best decisions as we continue our gradual re-entry into live indoor worship  at our Woodridge and Southern Oaks Campuses. Please take a moment to record your responses here. If your household has the same answers, only one response is necessary but if your household is approaching reentry in different manners, please fill out one survey for each person.

You will see later in this email that we plan to reenter with live worship inside at our Woodridge Campus in July, but we will continue to have multiple options for you: inside, outside drive-in, and online.  We will have services at our Woodridge and Southern Oaks Campuses.

We are not pushing anyone to reenter inside if they are not ready.  We're ready when you're ready.
The Power of Prayer

Come Pray With Us

Please gather with us as we continue our Power of Prayer ministry (POP) from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. next Thursday, June 25, in the LOCC Woodridge Campus Commons. Our friends and loved ones, our church,  and our entire nation continue to face multiple challenges with the ongoing  COVID pandemic, and heightened tensions and unrest surrounding the death of George Floyd. Let us pray for healing, restoration, understanding, wisdom, and protection for all our citizens and leaders.

Social distancing protocols will be observed, and we do encourage everyone to wear face masks.

POP meets every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month to unite in guided prayer for our families, our church, and our nation.
Operation Christmas Child
Filler Factory Opening for Business June 30
We've all been looking forward to the re-start of Operation Christmas Child Filler Factory – to getting together again and continuing the powerful and effective ministry of producing exceptional gift items and delivering good news and great joy to children around the world in the name of Jesus!

With the phased re-opening up of our economy and changing social gathering protocols, we are able and ready to re-start Filler Factory on Tuesday, June 30. Please know, however, that due to social distancing and safety considerations taking precedence, Filler Factory operations will look a little different, at least for a while:
  • We will meet in two shifts on Tuesdays beginning June 30:
    • Shift 1:          9 a.m. – 11 a.m.
    • Shift 2:          11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
  • RESERVATIONS will be REQUIRED for limited participation opportunities in each shift. A popular and user-friendly online signup tool will be used for this process. Instructions on how to reserve your place for a given shift will be outlined in an upcoming email. If you don’t have online access, or are not on the Filler Factory email list, please contact us.
  • There will be a reduced variety of activities at the start.
  • The Filler Factory entrance/exit will be through the Fountain Room's exterior doors.
  • Everyone will wear face masks and gloves, and all work areas/stations will be sanitized regularly.
  • Common social distancing guidelines will be practiced and monitored.
  • Snacks will be discontinued for a time, but you can bring your own drink with a lid.
  • Please bring and wear a name tag if you have one.
We're sure you're as excited about re-starting Filler Factory as we are! Please be patient with us and each other as we all navigate through social distancing, safety protocols, and the phased return to Filler Factory operations.

If you have questions or are unsure if you are on the Filler Factory email list, please call or text Tom Stark, 585.451.9164, or Dana Stark, 585.766.8163.

July 5 at LOCC, Woodridge Campus

In this unprecedented time as our nation battles dual pandemics of virus and culture, what is the Christian response? What does it mean to love my neighbor, especially when we may have fundamental disagreements? What is the difference between social justice and biblical justice? In this fearful time, the church must be a fearless promotor of God’s justice. Pastor John Gerhardt of Urban Impact and EFCA Superintendent Glen Schrieber will join us at LOCC on July 5 to present a Biblical Framework for Justice and Reconciliation. The focus? God’s heart for justice and mercy. Our nation needs a biblically grounded response to the crises we face. John and Glen bring more than 60 years of combined experience to the table. There will be a time for questions, so come prepared.
