I’m late getting this out this month. 2021 is already getting away from some of us!

Bulk Week Already!

This coming week is bulk week! This past Monday was the first Monday of the month, and so this coming Monday is the second Monday of the month… which makes this Bulk Week for Rio Crossing!

Holiday Trash/Recycling Schedule

Again this month, in the middle of the month! Monday February 15 is President’s Day. Just that week, trash pickup moves to Tuesday and Recycling pickup moves to Friday.

• Trash for Monday February 15 moves to Tuesday February 16

• Recycling for Thursday February 18 moves to Friday February 19

Like I did in January, I’ll try to send out a reminder on Sunday just before the week. Seemed like it helped!

Next Regular Board Meeting

The next regular board meeting is scheduled for March. More details on that in next month’s email.

Design Review Committee Volunteers

Based on the huge increase in Architectural Requests we’ve been getting the last few months, I know many of you are well aware that these are reviewed by a few volunteers known as the Design Review Committee.

Earlier this month homeowners whose email addresses are on file with PDS should have received an “e-blast” like this:

Several of your neighbors have volunteered, and I’ll be providing some training on committee processes and the community documents, including the Design Guidelines that is the committee’s main reference.

If are interested in serving on the committee OR would just like to sit in on the training sessions (being held via Zoom) to learn more about our process, please contact me (reply to this email) or contact Lisa, our community manager.
