SUMMER is here with five weeks to the MIDSUMMER SOLSTICE marked in the yoga calendar with 'International Yoga Day' on the 21st June.  This year the theme is:

 ‘Yoga for Harmony and Peace’ 

Join us wherever you are by finding time to unite in peace with yogis around the globe and practise ‘Surya Namaskar’.    If you are local to Forest Row join us to greet the dawn with ‘Mantra Chanting’ and contribute to our annual marathon of 144 rounds of  ‘Surya Namaskar’.  Or join us to honour the setting sun with 'Havan', the sacred fire ritual, to purify the body, mind and atmosphere and awaken auspicious energies to invoke blessings and grace in our lives.

In his opening address of the 69th session of the General Assembly of the UN, Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India proposed an International Day of Yoga which was consequently endorsed by a record 175 member states on the 14th December 2014.
