I am excited to announce that the JL Mann Band is heading to Orlando!  This is an educational experience for our students, and the benefits are immeasurable.  I hope that every student in our band will take advantage of this once in a lifetime opportunity!

Please plan to attend the Parent Meeting on Tuesday, September 17 where we will discuss all the details and answer any questions you may have.  (Exact time will be announced through the newsletter.)  In the meantime, I hope this will answer your immediate questions.

What bands are going?  Both Symphonic Band and Marching Band will be performing.

Where will the bands perform?  The Marching Band will have a Friday morning parade through Universal.  The Symphonic Band will participate in the festival concert with OrlandoFest.

Who can attend?  Only current JL Mann High School students and parent chaperones.

What will this cost?  A non-refundable deposit of $50 is due by September 26, 2019.  Please see tentative payment schedule below.

What is included?  Your package will include the following:

  • “Full-Scope” Tour Director (gratuity not included)
  • Two-day Park to Park admission to Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios
  • Lanyard, luggage tag, and string backpack for all participants
  • Application fee and adjudication for OrlandoFest
  • Round-trip motorcoach transportation, driver’s room and gratuity**
  • 3 nights hotel accommodations with interior corridors (quad occupancy)
  • 3 breakfasts at hotel, 2 Universal Dining Cards
  • Individual Billing
  • All admissions, entrance fees, taxes and most gratuities, as listed above

Non-refundable deposit of $50 is due by September 26, 2019

Please follow these easy steps to enroll online:


  • Visit
  • Click REGISTER/MAKE A PAYMENT in the upper right corner of the Kaleidoscope Adventures website.
  • Please sign up for the online payment portal.
  • After creating your account, please log-in and register for your tour using the following trip registration:

(case sensitive!)

  • After following the on-screen registration instructions and making your NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of $50, you will receive an email confirming your account registration.  Again, you are not full registered until your deposit is paid.

You can make a payment using a credit card online (3% additional fee applies) or by using your checking account (free).

Registrations takes just a few minutes, and the NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is only $50.  PLEASE NOTE:  There is limited space on the trip, space is filled on a first-come-first-served basis.  Your spot on the trip will NOT be secured until the NON-REFUNDABLE initial deposit is made.  Please register and make your NON-REFUNDABLE deposit as soon as possible to secure your spot on the trip.
