Amazon's Lord of the Rings show has cast 20 more roles--while still managing to keep the plot of the show a total mystery.
Goodreads has announced its "Best Books of 2020" based on more than 5.5 million votes. Although there's still time to argue about whether any dead people voted, it would appear that Sarah J. Maas, Christopher Paolini, Holly Black, and Rick Riordan are the SFF winners this year.
The Washington Post's list of 2020's best SFF is 100% different than Goodreads's. So WP and Goodreads can figure that out for themselves.

Looking Ahead to 2021

I'm excited to preview a few things SFF will introduce next year. Some concepts are still in development, but here's the plan so far:

Monthly short-form custom content, including some guest contributions
Pictures (because that makes newsletters nice)
New audience preferences to control what sort of content you do or don't receive

And it's worth noting that SFF Weekly will still go out weekly because name reasons.
