John 6:37 (NKJV) says "All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out
". This verse may be well known to you. it contains two promises from the lips of Jesus. Both promises are at the very heart of the Gospel (Good News). Let me paraphrase. Firstly, Jesus says that His ministry will not be in vain, but will prosper and be fruitful. Jesus can say with joy and confidence that “All that the Father gives Me will come to Me"
. Secondly, the promise is that those who come to Jesus will not be cast out, "the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out
". As we come to Jesus, He will welcome us, and does not reject us, but will transform us! On Saturday during our Family Service at 11.15am on Zoom and Facebook, we will look more at these two promises.
