An update on Move Planning for the Arts and Computational Sciences Building

The move is in a week!

Moving boxes
Moving boxes were delivered in May and additional boxes are stocked within COB1 (351), COB2 (339), and SE1 (347). Labels were sent out via intercampus mail as well; however, if additional boxes and/or labels are needed please contact Allison Costa by 5pm on Monday, August 12th.

Make sure to reference the Move Guide as it contains all packing and move information.  It includes information on what not to take (for example, don't take your chair, you will have a new one in your new space), how to pack your boxes, where the labels go on your boxes, what boxes to use, and how to use the pink bag.

Reminder that the movers do not move personal items. Personal items are photos, artwork, appliances, and any other pieces not owned by the University. There are microwaves and refrigerators in the new ACS Building (one microwave and refrigerator, in each of the three break rooms)!

Moving schedule and office access
Moves will occur August 15 and August 16. Occupants should not expect to use their current offices on either of these days. Keys will be available for pick up on the second floor of the ACS Building, in room 230A, on Friday, August 16 from 1pm to 2pm (for those who want to unpack over the weekend) and again on Monday, August 19th and Tuesday, August 20th from 8am to 10am.  If pick up hours do not accommodate your schedule, please contact the Lock Shop.

Reminder that in order to receive your new keys, you will need to return your old keys.

Book a conference room for your next meeting!

Conference rooms are available to reserve for use as of August 19. All conference rooms are reservable spaces and do not require an approver. To book a conference room, please use EMS to make the reservation.  To reserve the classrooms, please continue to use Astra or reach out to the Registrar's office

IT HelpDesk is ready to assist you.

The OIT (Office of Information Technology) HelpDesk is offering scheduled times to assist faculty and staff with setting up their computers, connecting to the building WiFi, connecting to the centralized printers, etc. Please visit their website for more information or click the blue Service Request button below.
Reminder if you have a static IP, submit your work request to the HelpDesk to ensure it is properly transferred to your new location.

OIT will be on site to support you during this transition. They will be located in the ACS Building, conference room 230B, August 19 through August 23, from 8am to 5pm, for drop in questions, VoIP assistance, and any other quick questions you may have.
