Pollinator Week is less than 1 Month Away!

Pollinator Week is less than 1 month away and will start on Monday, June 22nd! Help us celebrate by requesting local establishments and buildings to light up yellow and orange in support of pollinators and as a beacon of hope during these challenging times. Together, let's make this the brightest Pollinator Week ever!

Visit our website to see this year’s Pollinator Week Lightings so far. Past lightings include the Empire State Building, the CN Tower, Niagara Falls, and multiple City Hall buildings across North America.

Join Project Wingspan and Protect Monarchs

Project Wingspan is excited to announce that it has expanded to two more states (Arkansas and Minnesota)! If you’re interested in joining this effort and becoming a certified seed collection volunteer, we have FREE ONLINE TRAINING for seed collecting volunteers in our target states of Arkansas, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin!

Follow our easy 6-step training and learn how to properly collect seed from the landscape and how to identify a variety of native plant species. Skills that once learned, can be applied to your personal garden and other local community efforts.

Sign up to volunteer and a state coordinator will get in touch to connect you with the training module that will best fit your level of time, skill, and interest. We hope you will join Project Wingspan and help make a valuable contribution to supporting migrating monarchs and the imperiled rusty patched bumble bee!

2) Watch the Protecting Our Pollinators webinar hosted by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and learn about the importance of pollinators to our food system, the threats they face, and best practices to safeguard them.

3) Watch the Exploring the World of Pollinators webinar by Anthony Colangelo, Pollinator Partnership's Communications Coordinator and learn about native bees and a few of the fantastic programs Pollinator Partnership has to offer for parents and kids that are fun, educational, and beneficial to pollinators!
