We are committed to providing our customers the best IoT Intelligence capabilities at the edge and in the cloud. This month, we'd like to feature some new capabilities we're adding to the platform and others that are being spruced up with a refreshed UI and better performance. On Forge, we've added several new Sensors to our Catalog, and on Alloy, we've improved the user experience for Assets and added new capabilities to Activities.
We've also upgraded and released new versions of our Mobile Application (version 2.3.8) to the Apple iOS and Google Play Stores.
Upgraded Charting on ASSET page
Select a date and see the metrics for the 24 hour window. Have the ability to zoom in/out, pin the chart to an Incident, etc. Mouseover shows value at that point. Switch between metrics or dates seamlessly.
Asset LIST view
You now have 2 views into the assets - A TILE view (default) and a new LIST view. Allows you to see all Devices, Equipment and Sensors sorted by the zones they are defined in. Use the filter (top-right) to filter by a set of pre-defined attributes.
Support for NEW Sensors
In addition to the Temperature/Humidity Sensors, People Counters and Door Open/Close Sensors, we now support Gas/Water Flow and Electric Current Sensors, giving us the ability to measure and optimize the Energy Footprint for a site.
Support for Work Order and Task Management
We now support the full lifecycle of Work Orders and Tasks. Work Orders can be created at the Location, Zone or Asset level and assigned a severity and due date. Default platform capabilities for collaboration, notification and rules are available across all types of activities - Incidents, Work Orders and Tasks. These are available on the iOS and Android applications and can be shared with 3rd party Service Providers or Technicians.
