Welcome to Term 2!

We are holding a number of Shakespearean classes this term on A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Romeo and Juliet, and Much Ado About Nothing. To celebrate all the Shakespeare goodness, we are running several competitions and giveaways. Read on!

Competitions: Bell Shakespeare Tickets

We are giving away a total of 8 tickets to Bell Shakespeare productions at the Sydney Opera House later this year.

Here is some information about the productions:

Titus Andronicus

This is Shakespeare’s bloodiest play - much bloodier than Macbeth (and that’s saying a lot, especially for those attended the Pop-up Globe production last year)! Shakespeare (co-)wrote this in the early stages of his career, and it’s very much a Renaissance revenge tragedy. Due to age recommendations, our competition is restricted to students over 16.

The tickets we have purchased are for Sunday 15 September at 4pm.

Much Ado About Nothing

A romantic comedy with a central battle of wits, and jealousy and deception served on the side - one of our favourite Shakespeare plays! Many students will have studied Much Ado About Nothing before, either at school or with us, which makes this a perfect opportunity to see how Shakespeare can come to life! Due to age recommendations, our competition is restricted to students over 13.

The tickets we have purchased are for Sunday 17 November at 4pm.
