Dear colleagues

Blockchain International Scientific Conference ISC2021 is just 2 weeks away! We have put together an excellent conference. I look forward to meeting you (virtually) on March 15.

The 7th Issue of the JBBA is on track for April. This is going to be the special conference edition packed with ground-breaking cutting-edge research and review papers.

Earlier this week, Kalifa's UK FinTech report was published. I was pleased to see the increasing emphasis on evidence based application of resources.

BBA at UK FinTech Awards
BBA's president Dr Naseem Naqvi is on the judging panel at the upcoming UK Fintech Awards, with judges from techUK, UK Finance, FinTech Scotland FinTech Wales, FinTech Alliance, InsureTech UK, et al.
BBA Research in Government Policymaking
Now published on Australian Government’s official website following a recent submission to Australian Senate’s Financial and Regulatory Committee, the document cites two research papers from The #JBBA.

The submission was made by Dr Darcy Allen, Dr Chris Berg et al, of
RMIT University, an institutional member of the Centre for Evidence-Based Blockchain (CEBB).

New Editorial Board appointments
University of Birmingham’s Professor Dr David Galindo has joined the JBBA’s Review board.

Dr Galindo is an Associate Professor in Applied
#Cryptography, Blockchain and Computer Security at the School of Computer Science. He is a member of the University's Centre for Cyber Security and Privacy and holds a PhD in Cryptography.

Professor Dr Apostolos Kourtis has joined the JBBA’s External Peer Review Board (Finance Section)

Dr Kourtis is the Head of Finance and an Associate Professor at
Norwich Business School, University of East Anglia, UK. He is an External Examiner at the University of Essex, UK.

Prof Kourtis holds a PhD from Greece and an MSc in Applied and Computational Mathematics from the
University of Oxford. He is a member of European Finance Association and an Instructor for MSc in Digital Currency at University of Nicosia.
