Dear Church Family,
What an absolute joy it is to be your pastor! This past weekend was extremely busy, but together we accomplished a great work for the Lord. Here is a snapshot at what was accomplished:
- Welcomed children, the military, families, and adults.
- Fostered strong relationships with the City of Havelock, Police, and Fire and Rescue.
- Collected over 300 canned goods for the Havelock Food Pantry.
- Shared the Gospel message with approximately 800 people over the weekend.
- Made a positive impact on our community.
- Worked together as the body of Christ.
- Partnered with the Gideons who distributed over 400 Bibles.
While it might be tempting to analyze these numbers, it is wise to rest in the knowledge that God's will was accomplished. There is much to learn from our first Multiply event and I am incredibly thankful for each and every one of you. I thank my God upon every remembrance of you for the work that you have done, not for earthly recognition, but for heavenly reward.
While I have only had time to take a cursory glance at some of the response cards received, please know that over 14 people expressed an interest specifically in learning more about salvation. Praise be to God the Father of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Thank you all for your continued dedication to glorifying God, standing firm, making disciples, and loving others.
Please mark your calendar for a Multiply debriefing (After Action Report). I look forward to your feedback about how we can continue to best serve our community for Christ.
Sunday, October 30th, immediately following service.
A light lunch will be provided and the meeting will run for one hour.
