Bemidji-Cass Chapter #46
A Note from our Chapter President
22nd annual Bemidji/Cass Lake Muskie Tournament is a Go!
First I would like to thank Henry Drewes and his staff at the DNR for accepting this year’s application during this pandemic. I cannot stress the importance of following social distancing recommendations and good sportsmanship. This is a one day fundraiser for BSU aquatic studies scholarship in addition to a door prize raffle for an under 18 angler to receive a lifetime fishing license. There will be a payout for Big fish, 1st thru 4th place, and junior 1st place. I hope everyone has fun and thank you for contributing to this event. This is the first event for the season for most of us. The DNR and the public will be watching how this event is perceived, and our conduct in and out of the water will be evaluated for future events.
Please be respectful of others. Keep your opinions on divisive subjects at home. Watch your distancing at boat ramps, on and off the water. Enjoy what the area has to offer. All fish registrations need to be turned into the committee by 5 pm at The Tavern on South Shore. If you catch a fish smaller than 40 inches, please drop me an email for DNR reporting.
Ruttgers Resort has a discount of 20 percent for this event 218-444-3463.
Country Inn and Suites also has event packages at 218-441-4800. Please mention this event.
There is no award ceremony, we will post the results on our website and mail prize money to the winners. If you would like to stop in and say Hi at the Tavern afterward, that would be ok.
