In the book of Acts, Luke describes the early church. He states, “They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers” (Acts 2:42). At CTK, we have focused a lot on teaching the Bible and community (fellowship). It is one of the things we are known for! As I look at our ministry over the past several years, I recognize how intentional we have been in making these two things a top priority.
We are now in a new decade – 2020 is upon us! In starting out this New Year, we want to have a new focus in our church. We want to become people of prayer!
Starting this Sunday, January 19th, we will be having a special prayer time every Sunday morning starting at 9:30 am. This will be a chance for us to gather together and pray for individual needs as well as praying for the church services and our congregation as a whole. It will be time well spent that will have an exponential impact for the Kingdom of God.
