The last book of the Bible starts with the words, “The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show to his servants the things that must soon take place” (Revelation 1:1). With this, the Apostle John began recording one of the most mysterious and awe-inspiring letters ever written.
While many believe Revelation is a book we cannot understand, we need to be aware that it is written as apocalyptic literature. By its very nature, this means that the book of Revelation is about a mystery that has been revealed for us!
I would like to invite you to join me on a journey through the book of Revelation starting on Sunday, January 19th at our 10:30 am worship service. The following Wednesday, January 22nd, 7:00 pm at Gwynn’s CoffeeHouse, we will continue our study from where we left off on the previous Sunday. This will be our weekly pattern throughout the winter as we take time to discover that which has been revealed about the future of the world and the second coming of Jesus Christ.
Set some time aside and join us this winter as we grow closer to Jesus together!
