RECAP: Maine Outdoor Economy Summit

Thank you to everyone who attended and supported the inaugural Maine Outdoor Economy Summit! Over 250 people gathered to listen to industry experts, share innovative ideas, learn about the latest consumer and economic trends, and view new products and gear. We loved connecting with all of you and banding together to show what a big impact our industry has in this state.

Outdoor recreation has twice the economic impact in Maine as the national average and is essential to our quality of life. We look forward to working together to support a thriving outdoor industry in our state.

Thanks to the talented Rick Griffiths with Fly Focus for the photos!
RECAP: Basecamp Gather Network + Hiring Event
The vibes were high and the place was packed for the Basecamp Gather networking and hiring event. It was a great way to close out an action-packed two days of the summit and we loved seeing the larger community come together to connect and chow down on this epic charcuterie canoe.

A huge thanks to Winky Lewis for the complementary headshots, Marshall Communications for sponsoring, and all of the brands that attended. We can't forget to say congrats to Lindsay Hastings for winning an Old Town kayak and Malone Auto Racks trailer! All of the raffle proceeds went to support students interested in attending Maine Outdoor Economy Summit in the future.

Get the Maine Outdoor Beer!

We are thrilled to announce the Maine Outdoor Beer, a tasty session brown ale made in collaboration with Lone Pine Brewing and MOB brand member Grandy Organics that supplied the oats and wheat bran to use as ingredients. Dark in color with a lightweight taste of granola, the Maine Outdoor Beer is crafted to be the perfect companion for any outdoor pursuit. Proceeds from this collaboration support MOB in continuing to elevate Maine's outdoor industry.

Availability is limited, so head to one of Lone Pine's tasting rooms or numerous purveyors around the state to grab a 4-pack before its gone!
