Marianne Lorini
Area Agency on Aging for Southwest Florida mourns the loss of Marianne Lorini, who recently stepped down as CEO in July. She passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 29.

Marianne was devoted to the Southwest Florida community. She served tirelessly in her role as CEO for the past seven years and was instrumental in placing the Agency on a course that has seen meaningful growth and expansion. Her dedication as a strong and vocal advocate for older adults and those with disabilities is evident in the number of collaborative relationships she developed with those in Florida’s aging network and throughout our seven-county region.

In addition, her unwavering commitment to the Agency can be seen in the number of positive changes she implemented as CEO before retiring this summer. Marianne built a strong management team and established a momentum that will continue to impact the future of the elderly and disabled.

Marianne is survived by her loving husband Tom.

Our hearts go out to her family and friends.
