Whelp, we are in the “home stretch” for the Little Falls Cheese Fest!

This coming week will be a blur of activity. A few more makes of fresh cheese, packing and labeling, and getting all our ducks in a row—Saturday, October 1st is the day we’ve been looking forward to all year. We hope you will join us!

This past Friday, Suzie had the pleasure of talking about the Cheese Fest on air with WAMC’s Round Table with Joe Donahue. Joining her were Sharon Tomaselli of Cooperstown Cheese and Abbey Woodcock of Callee1945. To have given us a full half-hour was very generous, indeed. Check it out HERE!

Make Cheese at Home!

Our good friends at New England Cheesemaking have made a generous contribution to the Little Falls Cheese Festival—three complete home cheesemaking kits!

Raffle tickets will be available at the festival’s information booth, giving entrants the chance to win one of these great kits. We’d love to see you win and then see what you make! (If you do indeed make cheese at home and need any guidance or advice, please do not hesitate to ask us or New England Cheesemaking—they are a fantastic resource!)

Be sure to enter at the Little Falls Cheese Festival!

Two Nights Out (In a Row?!?)

In an uncharacteristic burst of social activity, Peter and Suzie saw The Book of Mormon at the Stanley Theater on Friday night, followed by a lovely dinner in a field held by Local Foods Mohawk Valley on Saturday night.

If you are not already subscribed to LFMV’s email list, please sign-up HERE. This was the fourth (?) pop-up held by LFMV, to be followed by many more—each event offering a fun, casual, and delicious way to reconnect and celebrate local food producers.

The Week Ahead

We plan to be at the Clinton Farmer’s Market on Thursday—only 2 markets left in the season! The online farmer’s market Local Foods Mohawk Valley is also taking orders for pickup on Tuesday. Our farm store is always open daily, 10am-6pm.

And of course, we will be at the Little Falls Cheese Festival, 10am-5pm this coming Saturday, October 1st. WE CANNOT WAIT! (Stop by our booth to say hi, and don’t miss “Les Moutons”!)

Thank you, as always. If there is anything we can do for you, please let us know!
