We have been busy little elves stocking our farm store! We have a wide variety of jams and jellies (red pepper jelly + Kuyahoora = an easy win for the office party!), salsas, hot sauces, lamb and beef stew, and freshly stocked butter. On Tuesday, we’re getting a hefty restock of piggy goodness from our friends Kate and Mark Worden of Wormont Woolies in Cassville. Huzzah!

We are also taste-testing to find a suitable replacement for the variety of Grassy Cow products we have become so fond of! This week we are featuring milks from Shults Farm in Canajoharie. We have pints of Cookies ‘N Cream, Chocolate, and Mocha.

In case you have not heard, Angela and Leon Atwell of Grassy Cow in Remsen have decided to close their creamery and will stop bottling milk and making cheese curd by the end of this month. If you are a fan of their products, we urge you to pay them a visit before Thanksgiving and LOAD UP! We will miss the delicious products Leon and Angela produced for the Mohawk Valley; the Atwells put a lot of love into their work!

New milk alert! Shults Farm from Canajoharie has some fun flavors in our farm store.

FREE Marketing Workshop

Are you a small business owner or food entrepreneur looking to get started online? Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oneida County, in conjunction with the Oneida County Public Market, will be offering two free marketing workshops on Nov. 10 and 18 via Zoom.

During the first session, “Marketing Strategies for Online Sales”, Suzie will be talking about our farm’s pivot to online sales during the pandemic and sharing how we were able to reach our target audience.

Register for one or both workshops and we’ll see you there!

New This Week

Freshly churned, 100% vegan sorbets in Spiced Apple Cider, Pumpkin Pie, and Vietnamese Coffee are available at our farm store, The Mustard Seed in Little Falls, The Kriemhild Kupboard in Hamilton, and for a limited time, to order on Local Foods Mohawk Valley. Get ‘em while they last!

We are also happy to have our Greek Chicken Burgers back in stock. Suzie made a fresh batch of these flavorful patties this past week, combining ground chicken with spinach, sundried tomatoes, red onion, Greek herbs, and our sassy goat milk feta. Find them in our farm store and (soon!) to order on Local Foods Mohawk Valley.

As you prepare your holiday menu, please don’t hesitate to reach out if you are having trouble finding something special, something local. Our ties in the farming and food community mean we know a few folks! We’re happy to help.

As always, our farm store is open daily, 10am-6pm.

Thank you for your tremendous support. If there is anything we can do for you, please let us know!
