Ti Lekòl Lakay, originally developed in response to the  COVID-19 pandemic, is a package of materials that schools and organizations can use to deliver educational programming during crisis situations. Gras ak kolaborasyon patnè nou Amurt-Haïti, 11 lekòl nan Sid, ak tout lekòl ki nan rezo patnè nou nan BDE nan Nippes resevwa sipò devlopman pwofesyonèl ak akonpayman nesesè pou yo kapab sèvi ak chante, istwa ak pwogram odyo Lakou Kajou a pou timoun zòn sa yo.

Lakou Kajou is reinforcing its presence in the South!

We are proud that since April, 10 schools in the South and 92 schools from the Bureau Diocésain d’Éducation (BDE) in les Nippes are using  our content to bring love, fun and learning  to  children. 

Thanks to the collaboration with our partner, AMURT-Haiti, the 11 new schools in the South as well as our school partners from BDE in les Nippes are receiving professional development and coaching to provide Lakou Kajou songs, stories and audio programs to children in the region.
 
During the summer, our pedagogical coach in the south will hold community events where children can watch Lakou Kajou episodes, sing and do special activities to enjoy the summer. We are doing it again : partnership with radio stations to reach more children

This summer, Lakou Kajou is developing a partnership with community radio stations to reach more children throughout the country. We will be distributing  30-minute radio programs to engage children in fun learning about literacy, mathematics, science and more. The program includes engaging songs and fun activities. STAY TUNED in our Facebook page for information about the program  schedule of our radio partners.

Resaman, ekip nou patisipe nan 3 evennman edikatif enpòtan. Nan jou ki te 3 Jen 2022, nou te patisipe nan yon konferans InnovEd-UniQ te reyalize sou materyèl ak ekipman pedagojik pou preskolè ann Ayiti. 

Nan 9-11 Jen 2022, nou te nan konferans « Eksperyans dwe sevi nou leson : Koòdinasyon pou n fè fas kare ak katawstwòf natirèl ». Se te Haiti Response Coalition ak Haiti Development Institute ki te òganize li nan Sid. Nou te gen opòtinite prezante materyèl nou yo ak fason nou te reponn a kriz COVID-19 la ak tranblemantè ki te pase 14 dawout 2021 nan Sid.
 
Nan Jou ki te 7 Jen 2022, nou asiste lansman pwojè USAID a sou « kontinuite aprantisaj » ki te fèt nan otèl Montana, Pòtoprens. Pwojè sa a vle ranfòse aprantisaj timoun yo nan literasi, lekti ak konpetans sosyo-emosyonèl, nan senk rejyon ann Ayiti. 

Lakou Kajou participated at three big educational events

Recently, our team attended three important education events. On Jun 3, 2022, we participated in the InnovEd-UniQ conference on preschool pedagogical materials and equipment in Haiti. 
 
On June 9-11, 2022, we attended  a conference, “Beyond Lessons Learned Coordination for Disaster Response”, co-organized by the Haiti Response Coalition and Haiti Development Institute, in the South. We presented Lakou Kajou materials and how we responded to the crisis situation during the COVID-19 and the earthquake that occurred on August 14, 2021 in the South.
 
On June 7, 2022, we assisted at the Launch of the USAID’s Continuity of Learning Program held at Hotel Montana, Port-au-Prince. This project aims to reinforce children in literacy, reading, and socio-emotional learning, in five regions of Haiti.
