Phoenixville Area Time Bank is having a social distancing event on Sept 05, 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM, rain or shine, at Spring Creek Farm, Pottstown. You've heard of Diner en Blanc? or Phoenixville's own Diner En Vert? Well this is 'Diner En Dirt', because it's at the horse ranch of a PATB member where the floor is dirt in the horse arena. (www.springcreek-farm.com)
Attendees will wear masks and keep at least 6 feet apart, and bring their own food, drinks, tables and chairs for a new kind of social event; being together for a group picnic but separate. A tour of the farm will begin at 4:30. And the date and time of the picnic is set to enjoy the running of the Kentucky Derby by smart phone viewing while at a horse ranch. Post time is about 6:30.
Wherever you are, participate in an event where you can run, walk, or roll (in a wheelchair, pushing a stroller, on roller blades, or on a bicycle!). Choose between a 1 mile walk, a marathon, and anything in between! Complete your race any time between September 16 and September 30. Proceeds go to Orion Communities and the Phoenixville Area Time Bank!

"We Are" Vigils
Welcome to PATB's new
Hello! My name is Jason Frederick, and in July I joined our Time Bank as the Administrative Manager, taking over for David Thompson. Earlier in the year, I became a member of PATB and got to know the leaders in our Time Bank through participating in events and helping to enhance our web presence. If you haven’t already done so, explore our awesome public website and sign-up for upcoming events!
When I joined the Time Bank, I was inspired by the unorthodox “one equals one rule.” However, lately I’ve been thinking about the core value of Reciprocity. While some may find themselves gravitating more towards the role of “provider” OR the role of “receiver,” balance between both roles is needed for a healthy Time Bank. So, to everyone (myself included), keep those time dollar balances around zero by being an active giver AND receiver!
Professionally, I’ve worked in a number of roles including deployment analyst and data analyst in the Washington D.C. and King of Prussia areas. Over the last few years, I have been studying User Experience Design and Research through academic and self-directed efforts. For fun and relaxation, I enjoy hiking, biking, kayaking, ultimate frisbee, and, in general, experiencing the outdoors. Aviation and flying has always fascinated me, so I’ve even tried some less common sports like hang gliding and paragliding.
I’ve come to appreciate the importance of community and look forward to continuing to help strengthen our community at the Phoenixville Area Time Bank.
