Since 2013, EURESFO has been a unique exchange platform for city representatives, experts and stakeholders from local and regional institutions to discuss ways of adapting to climate change, charting progress made, and opportunities to scale up action and within a shared vision of a climate resilient future. The full programme is now available on the EURESFO website.

CITIES

National workshops bring local leaders together to address climate adaptation

Successful climate change adaptation measures need to be appropriately adapted to local contexts – a challenging task that can be made easier through peer support. National workshops organised by the Covenant of Mayor’s Policy Support Facility (PSF) are bringing together local municipalities, regional authorities and practitioners to support them to tailor and implement adaptation measures.

Building urban resilience in London through community-led decision making

Like many other cities, London aims to enhance the quality of life for its residents, preserve its local environment, and build a more resilient community to cope with the impacts of climate change. While the solution is not simple, developing socially cohesive neighbourhoods is a crucial starting point to address many of the challenges we face today.
