EuroPACE Project: An integrated building improvement platform for Europe.

Building Momentum. Creating a Movement. Launching the EuroPACE Community.

Dear friends and colleagues,

Today, we are launching the EuroPACE Community - a community of citizens, city-representatives, organizations, and companies joined together to make EuroPACE a reality for all Europeans.

The concept of EuroPACE is inspired by the success of an on-tax financing model called PACE, launched in California in 2008. In the US, in the past four years, the PACE market reached over $5 billion in funded projects, including the retrofit of over 200,000 homes, which resulted in more than 42,000 new local jobs and the creation of hundreds new companies. It is time to bring PACE to Europe!

Every month we will update you on our progress, share news, publications, and articles related to EuroPACE. Stay tuned!

Our Three-Year Plan

In the next three years we will be working together to bring PACE to Europe. Our initial focus is on residential and multi-family properties.

Our Journey Began a Few Years Ago

We met with the US PACE market leaders, international funders, green bond investors and city leaders.
In June 2017, GNE Finance presented the idea of EuroPACE to the investor community at the Global Asset-Backed Securities Conference in Spain. The idea was well received and we were invited to join the 1st Investors' Conference on Green Bonds in London. Earlier this year, we met with US market leaders at the PACENation Summit in Denver, Colorado. We've been building the momentum for PACE in Europe and establishing key connections in Europe and the US to ensure the successful implementation of EuroPACE.

Picking Up EuroPACE: Meet the Team

In March, the EuroPACE team met in Barcelona for a kick-off meeting. We put together an interdisciplinary team composed of city officials, financing experts, energy efficiency experts, building engineers, researchers and social innovation experts.
