HolaDomus - Starting Home Renovation Revolution
One Step at a Time

1st Home-based Financing Pogramme Launch - Olot, Spain
After 2 years of work, 8 partner organizations involved, more than 50 professionals working on legal, political, operational, financing, marketing and technical issues, we are ready to lunch the 1st Home Renovation Programme developed under the EuroPACE initiative - HolaDomus. HolaDomus has full support and commitment from the City of Olot that co-created an One Stop Shop to operate the programme. This is only a start! A start of a home renovation revolution that puts citizens at the center of the process and intends to maximize social, economic and environmental impact in local communities.
  • Under the auspices of the EuroPACE project, partners have been designing and developing the HolaDomus programme since 2018.
  • The city of Olot played a key role by passing a local ordinance, setting up an One Stop Shop to operate the programme and opening a local office in Olot.
  • GNE Finance team arranged financing, legal, operational, and marketing aspects of the programme.
  • The Basque Government Energy Agency (EVE) and AGENEX provided support selecting eligible measures and developing contractor training modules.
  • UpSocial is running an energy poverty pilot involving 15 families in Olot.
  • Joule Assets Europe provided a digital tool for contractor management.
  • CASE offered an invaluable contribution to programme scalability with its EU-28  research, while CBI has been investigating  financing alternatives in the selected countries.
Making Home Renovation Easy, Affordable and Fair.
HolaDomus is an integrated home renovation programme designed with citizens in mind. HolaDomus is based on the One-Stop-Shop (OSS) model that offer homeowners full service from project design, planning, execution, financing and verification from one single contact point.
Thousands of homeowners in Olot now have access to the home renovation programme that expects to generate a strong volume of clean energy investments while creating a high social, economic and environmental impact in the community.
The HolaDomus website will be launching shortly.
