A green, fair and resilient recovery: Let's start the conversation

Webinars on post-COVID-19 recovery
This special edition features two relevant webinars, providing insights on how we must lay sustainable foundations for responsibly moving forward from the current COVID-19 crisis. The webinars are co-organized by GNE Finance with Climate Bonds Initiative and Green Buildings Council España. We look forward to virtually continuing this conversation!

Focus on Europe: "Energy efficient home improvements and the green stimulus"

WHEN: 3rd of June, 15:00 CET
Energy efficiency and renewable energy can and must play a pivotal role in Europe's economic recovery efforts.  Coronavirus economic stimulus packages should be aligned with this need. This webinar, a collaboration between Climate Bonds Initiative and GNE Finance under the EuroPACE umbrella, will host 4 speakers and foster debate about the potential of sustainable home renovation for the post-COVID-19 recovery.

The discussion paper: “A green, fair and resilient recovery: the role of energy efficiency and domestic renewables home retrofits", outlines the urgent need to increase the pace and scale of investment in sustainable renovation programs, provides case studies of stimulus packages introduced after the 2008 crisis, and offers suggestions to facilitate the mobilisation of resources towards sustainable renovation programs.

Today, the impact of the COVID-19 crisis can be felt everywhere in Europe; particularly, Spain has been severely affected by this pandemic. Part 1 will feature Emilio Miguel Mitre, Director of International Relations from GBCe as a moderator and the following speakers:
