Museum Reopening: 8 Sept 2021 at 10am

The Royal Canadian Regiment Museum is reopening for on site visits and gift shop purchases, starting Wednesday, 8 September 2021 at 10am.

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 10am to 4pm, 24 hrs pre-booking required.

The museum and the gift shop can be reached only through a controlled access point based on pre-booked appointments. Booking system for gallery visits and gift shop purchases/orders will be available starting Friday, 3 September 2021. Walk-ins are not accepted. Please monitor our social media and website for more info.

As we are preparing to reopen the museum for visits on site, we have not forgotten our loyal subscribers.

A new school year is about to begin and we are getting ready to share educational experiences with teachers and their students. Plenty of different materials can be found on our website; online programs and resources to support classroom learning can be booked. You can also subscribe to the Teachers' Corner, a bi-annual email blast for teachers, educators and student.

Stories from the Collection brings forward a topic related to the Korean War, more precisely, the Military Armistice Commission for the Korean War. Placed under UN Command, the commission was established in July 1953 ending in June 1954.

Doors Open London celebrates its 20th anniversary. The city-wide event will be available online from 18 to 19 Sept 2021. RCRM is part of the event, with online guided tours and an unique video of the museum re-opening in 2013. Monitor London Heritage Council website and social media for more details.

RCRM Speakers Series Season 2 resumes with the Curator at Elgin County Museum, Michael Baker and his presentation about war memorials in southwestern Ontario. Check in our Youtube channel on 23 Sept 2021 at 6pm.
