On 10 July 1943, US 7th Army and British 7th Army invaded Sicily, with the 1st Canadian Army Corps in the first waves of the large amphibious and airborne operation. For Curated Tour #4, Dr. St.Croix and Dr. Stanciu will discuss this operation and the 38-day campaign on the island of Sicily. During the campaign, The RCR lost their Commanding Officer and their Deputy Commanding Officer.
