We continue to remain active online as the efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19 have intensified across the country. The online guided tours continue to be offered, please contact the Public Programmer for bookings. Our website also offers interactive activities, online or printable games, as well as lessons for elementary and secondary levels.

This will be the last issue of RCRM DIGITAL in 2020, but it will come back next year, starting January. Stay connected and become a Subscriber.

The museum is not charging membership fees, but financial donations are appreciated (payments by cheque preferred, credit cards also accepted).



Stories from the Collection highlights artifacts in our holdings, as well as the fascinating stories they bring to light. This month's story features CITATIONS, DOMESTIC HONOURS FOR GENERAL CHARLES FOULKES.

A recent addition to our collection: Hong Kong Veterans Book of Remembrance is lasting tribute to the 1975 Canadians who were surprised by the Japanese forces on Hong Kong island before Christmas 1941.



Episode 9 of the RCRM Speakers Series podcast is now available: Murder comes to Westminster. The Killing of Private A. Buttery by Heather Ellis, PhD Candidate. The RCRM Speakers Series continued with Katrina Pasierbek's "A Cenotaph for the Community. How Londoners Have Remembered the First World War." The podcast season finale was released earlier and the series will come back in 2021 with a second season.



From the distance of the museum reception, we observed a downscaled Remembrance ceremony held by the 4th Battalion, The RCR. More education packages have been released for parents and educators seeking to expand on French vocabulary; the six-video series will continue in January 2021. Future of Tradition Careers in Heritage online event has been well received and recordings of the four panels will be released in December 2020.
