Sunday Morning Worship, 10 AM
As we enter into the third week of Advent, we all realize the Christmas Story is more than just a story. There are so many different components to this story, This week the story revolves around the importance of family, particularly between two very favored women. If you go to the first chapter of the gospel according to Luke, you will discover a little bit about who the women are. Come and listen to Pastor Deborah go deeper into the lives of these women.
Out of consideration for others, please wear a mask regardless of your vaccination status. The service will be live-streamed to our Facebook group for those not ready to return in person.Sermons will be posted on YouTube (video) and on our website (audio)

Each week Spirit of Hope is blessed by the work of our tireless staff who keep things running smoothly and do so with a joyful heart! Would you consider writing a personal note to one of them to encourage them? You may mail or drop off your blessing at the church before 12/24 or if you'd rather, email addresses will be made available on Sunday mornings. While it would be fine to include a gift, the main purpose is to write a uniquely personal note of encouragement for their endeavors and using their gifts to the glory of God! Staff members:
Rev. Deborah Schauer, Pastor
Corrine Yusi, Secretary
Tina Clark, Choir Director
Daphne Collins, Pianist
Howard Guetherman, Custodian
Jo Willis, Landscaper
Thank you for helping brighten their Christmas with your appreciation!

How are WE at Spirit of Hope doing at
Outreach to our Community?
How are WE doing at communicating the message of the gospel to people who pass by and through our campus every week? How are WE doing at inviting them to enjoy the blessings of fellowship as part of Spirit of Hope's family? How are WE doing at forming connections with the people who pass through our portals? How are WE doing at supporting the many ministry partners who use our campus in various ways? How are we (that's the congregational "WE," not the Pastor and Staff "we") doing at extending invitations, openness, welcomes, hospitality, and friendship?
You are invited to join your fellow worshippers, witnesses, and workers this Sunday after the morning worship service in evaluating our current outreach and committing to effective outreach.
Sunday after the 10 AM Worship service in the Fellowship Hall.

December: Prayer When Feeling Inadequate
Dear Lord, Thank you for fearfully and wonderfully creating each of us. Thank You for giving us worth in Your eyes. Help us live as the one You uniquely intended us to be. Help us abide instead of strive, living peacefully and joyfully as heirs to Your Kingdom and co-heirs with Christ. In Jesus' name, Amen.
