A Christmas Mystery!
I’m very excited to tell you about my new book, Book 4 of the Cambridge Murder Mysteries, A CHRISTMAS MYSTERY. As of this weekend, it is now available on Amazon around the world for pre-order! The paperback is coming before Christmas too, and will also be available on Amazon - and for those who live in Cambridge, you will be able to buy it in Heffers Bookshop on Trinity Street.
This fourth book in the series has Professor Elizabeth Green, Godric, Inspector Abley and Sergeant Lemon all investigating festive murders! Professor Green has travelled to Oxford to deliver a keynote speech at Catte College when there is an incident leaving a woman dead. As more bodies start to fall, will she solve the puzzle before Christmas? And, how is Father Christmas involved?
It was certainly fun going back to Oxford to do some research, and I will Tweet some pics of Oxford soon which I have been holding onto until the release of this book. Oxford will always have a special place in my heart, as I spent time there as a Don. Academic life was full-on, but I often enjoyed walks on Port Meadow, the University Parks, and down by the river Thames, so it was fun to incorporate some of the places I know. I hope those of you who are reading the series enjoy it. I certainly enjoyed writing it.
The pre-order price is lower than normal, at £2.99/$2.99, so that those who follow me on Twitter and subscribe to the newsletter can get is for this low price, if interested. The price will go up soon after it goes on sale. UK Link here USA Link here. Also available in other countries.
Thank you for sending me such lovely messages on Twitter. I really appreciate all of them. Even if I don't get the chance to reply to all. Writing these mysteries has become part of my life, and I'm so glad to share them with those of you who enjoy reading them. I'm also very grateful for the lovely reviews you leave for my books. As an Indie author, my books need reviews to be spotted in the vast sea of books on Amazon.
Next newsletter will have another guest interview. In the meantime, thank you for reading this newsletter. If you have any Christmas books to recommend too, please tweet me and I will try to retweet them. Have a great weekend, and if you're in the UK stay warm. If you're in Australia, or somewhere warm, then you're very lucky indeed. Enjoy the sun.
Love, Charlot x
