Vladislav Yeliseyev 3-Day Watercolor Workshop - April 3-5, 2020

The watercolor workshop with Vladislav Yeliseyev is rapidly approaching.  This is a 25 person workshop to be held on April 3-5, 2020 at the Port Aransas Art Center.

I met Vladislav at a Plein Air workshop in Sarasota Florida in 2017.  His mastery of watercolor design and painting is a wonder to behold.  I learned a tremendous amount from Mr. Yeliseyev and you will too!

Vlad studied Art, drawing and painting at the Moscow Institute of Architecture in Russia.

"Many times a watercolor painting was a success thanks to its composition. I always take my time to compose the piece thoroughly using a sketch. At this stage of my painting career, a small sketch helps me both compositionally and to create a value study."

We are presently partnering with the Port Aransas Art Center for our watercolor workshops entitled "South Texas Watercolor Workshop Series".

It has been one of my goals as acting president of the WSST to bring in Nationally and World renowned watercolor artists to teach watercolor.

In 2020 through 2023, we now have a list of renowned watercolor artists that are coming to South Texas to give watercolor classes and instruction.  This type of instruction will only enhance the skills and understanding of the challenges of painting in the watercolor medium.

I have already secured such well renowned artists including Eugeniu Gorean, Frank Eber, Iain Stewart and Andy Evansen who have agreed to travel to South Texas to teach.
