CLIC to Address Climate Change and Human Health in Upcoming Un-Meeting

Climate change is widely seen as one of the biggest threats to human health. From worsening air quality to the changing distribution of vector-borne diseases, the impacts of climate change on health are numerous.  

Leaders at the Center for Leading Innovation and Collaboration (CLIC) met to see how they could be part of the solution and decided to host an Un-Meeting addressing climate change and human health, which will be held on February 10, 2022. 

JCTS Call for Papers: Special DEI Edition
JCTS issued a Call for Papers for a special themed issue of the Journal of Clinical and Translational Science which will focus on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Clinical and Translational Science.

Summary submissions are encouraged to be submitted by January 15, 2022.

CLIC Cohorts for Change Resources

The Cohorts for Change series continued with our second workshop “Identifying and Assessing Institutional Racism.” This workshop examined institutional racism in organizational structures, policies, and practices and identified strategies for addressing it. The workshops are limited to selected participants but topic resource pages are open to all.

Submit Nominations for Indiana University's Watanabe Prize

This prize is one of the nation’s largest and most prestigious awards, awarded to a senior investigator who has made a significant contribution to the field of translational science. The winner will receive $100,000 and will spend September 14-16, 2022 in Indianapolis, as a visiting dignitary, sharing insights and knowledge with audiences at IU School of Medicine and its partner institutions.
