UCI ICTS: Hackathon Winners Develop Viable Solutions to Combat Opioid Addiction

The first ever “Opioid Hackathon,” which was in part sponsored by the UCI Institute for Clinical and Translational Science (ICTS), demonstrated a new and rapid turn-turnaround approach to solving the opioid crisis and led to 20 potential solutions in fewer than 24 hours.

Meet the Team 
Laura Meyers is the communications coordinator at CLIC. In this role she supports communication efforts within and about the CTSA Program consortium. Laura earned her bachelor's in journalism and mass communication and her master's in integrated marketing communications from St. Bonaventure University. Outside of work, Laura enjoys cooking (and eating!), reading and spending time with her friends, family and cat, Buddy.
