Welcome New ADHDA Board Members

We couldn't be more excited to welcome Kirista Trask of Cambium Gallery, Linda Dugan Winstanley of Linda Dugan Insurance, and Zack O'Connor of Fort George Brewery to the ADHDA board!  Each brings unique knowledge, perspective and experiences as well as a willingness to work together on our dedicated 12-member board. We thank you for your service! 🤝

ADHDA Executive Board
As we wave goodbye to a few board members whose terms were up at the end of 2022, we look to those who will be leading the organization in 2023.  These positions are integral to the organization itself, and we thank our new executive board for stepping into these important roles.📆
Misty Czillinger to be New Sunday Market Manager

Having assisted Shelby Meyers throughout all of last year's market season, ADHDA is looking forward to transitioning Misty into the role of Astoria Sunday Market Manager starting February 1st.  Misty has the knowledge, passion, relationship with vendors, and training to ensure a successful market season in 2023🍓

We're Hiring!

With Misty transitioning into managing the Sunday Market, we'll be on the lookout for a new Events and Marketing Manager.  Interested in applying?  The job will open and be posted on our website January 11th, so stay tuned for more details on how to become part of our small but might team! 🤝

New Dining and Shopping Maps
Hot off the printer- new downtown maps now available!  You can download/print Shopping maps here and Dining maps here. Parking Enforcement Resumes
Just a friendly reminder from your neighborhood Community Outreach Officer that parking enforcement, after a break to encourage extended downtown holiday shopping, has resumed.  ADHDA manages parking for the City of Astoria and all parking related inquiries can be directed to Atticus at:(503) 791-0341 or

The 1922 Astoria Fire: 100 Years Later

Thank-you to all of the partners who helped commemorate the 1922 fire that shaped the Astoria we know and love today, and to everyone who attended the panel discussion last month at the Fort George Lovell Showroom (one of the few buildings to survive the fire). The panel event reached capacity very quickly and was not recorded, so if you weren't able to attend and would like a copy of ADHDA's presentation on the aftermath and rebuilding of the 1922 fire, you may download it here (please note there are animations in some of the slides).  The panel was both informative, emotive and a good reminder of just how resilient we are. 💪
Shelby We Love You!!
As we look towards the new year ahead it becomes so important to reflect on those that were such a huge part of our 2022.  Shelby Meyers will be moving into a new position at the North Coast Food Web, a wonderful organization that aligns with her professional goals, and we couldn't be more grateful for everything she has done for ADHDA and the Sunday Market.  She's leaving the organization in good hands as she passes the torch to Misty, and we wish her the best on her new chapter 💛💛💛
