General Meeting this Friday

Greetings Astoria!!
As we bid goodbye to a lovely Summer and welcome the gatherings only Autumn can bring, we look forward to seeing you this Friday October 7th at 8:30am in the McTavish room in the Liberty Theater (enter on 12th, 2nd floor) for our General Meeting. Our audio and streaming capacity is limited, but if you prefer to attend via Zoom you can register here.  Feel free to download the agenda, and below is an overview of what we'll be chatting about. It is going to be quite a meeting!

On the agenda and general announcements:

Welcome North Coast Food Web

With its mission to cultivate healthy communities and a vibrant economy through food and agriculture, we couldn't be more proud of the NCFW and all the ways they serve our community.  This important work will continue in their new location at the Astoria Food Hub at 1152 Marine Drive- come by their 'Hub Warming Party' October 14th, 5:30-7:30pm, and see them in their new digs! 🥕🥚🥬

Welcome Jambot Donuts

You had me at 'donut', but how about 100 DONUTS??  That's right, Jambot will be introducing themselves and bringing 100 donuts to this Friday's meeting which we're pretty elated about.  We're even more excited that they are here in our community- never underestimate the importance of a great donut! 🍩

Say Hello to Our New Website!!👋

We couldn't be happier with our new website! A massive thank-you to Michele at Mad Bird Design for taking this on and being the best ever to work with, to the City of Astoria for supporting it, and to the ADHDA Org Committee for helping with it. This is a big milestone for the organization and we hope anyone who checks it out finds it useful 😍💻

By joining ADHDA your support goes directly to historic preservation projects; collaborations with the city, local schools, businesses and other organizations; economic development; numerous events; Astoria Sunday Market; the beautification of our beloved downtown and more.
