Connecting Families to the Moments  and Experiences that Matter

The COVID-19 pandemic altered the way we work, learn, and connect. For many, reliable and affordable connectivity at home has become critical to keeping families informed, employed, and mentally/physically supported in their daily lives. California State PTA and Comcast want to share resources and programs to help all families get connected.

In 2021, Congress created the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), a long-term, $14B benefit program that helps households afford the broadband they need for work, school, healthcare and more. Join us for a webinar on May 18th with Comcast California to learn more about the program and how families can access it. We hope PTA leaders will share this important information with their communities so all children and families will have access to affordable internet. Help us close the digital divide so all children have access to learning.

Participants will learn:

  • What the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is and how to enroll themselves or community members
  • How to find a participating Internet Service Provider in your area
  • Resources and tools to promote ACP to California State PTA families
